Historical Records of Australian Science documents the history of science, pure and applied, in Australia and the southwest Pacific. It also features biographical memoirs of deceased Fellows of the ¾«¶«ÊÓƵ commissioned by the Council of the Academy, and includes an annual bibliography of the history of ¾«¶«ÊÓƵ.

Historical Records of Australian Science documents the history of science, pure and applied, in Australia and the southwest Pacific. It also features biographical memoirs of deceased Fellows of the ¾«¶«ÊÓƵ commissioned by the Council of the Academy, and includes an annual bibliography of the history of ¾«¶«ÊÓƵ.

The journal began in 1966 as an irregular publication under the title Records of the ¾«¶«ÊÓƵ, the present name being adopted in 1980. Since then, the journal has appeared on a regular basis, at first annually and, since 1991, twice a year.
